Roof Smart Vent?

    Anybody know anything about these? Have them on your roof? do they hold up?

    I don't have soffit vents on the front part of my house so that's where the smart vent would be, don't need them on the back part because I do have soffit vents

    What about ice and water shield? Maybe this was addressed in the video but I didn't watch the whole thing.

    That's an interesting concept and obviously it works. I like the idea myself. Idk how snow load would make it not work. I'd assume the intake panels would be made of some type of rigid plastic?

    Looks like it wouldn't work with gutters... Gutters get filled with snow along with the roof and the path for the air to flow is blocked.. No gutters, no snow, no blockage..

    Idk maybe gutters can be mounted to the vent and then firred out supporting/mounting to the fascia so the air intake comes from behind the gutter? If that makes sense.
