    You get good stuff for the best price, but admittedly, you do have to work at getting it. Your parents are very fortunate to have you keeping them supplied with wood.

    I work hard at it just like most of the guys here, I just scavenge more. This was a nice find on the way home from taking down the father in laws cherry tree for him. Dad only gets a small amount of what I cut, but he will get as much as he needs.

    Bark looks like oak and I think it its s oak cut really slowly with a dull chain?

    LOL. That is a good eye clemsonfor. That is what I felt like while cutting that Maple down today. I started through it and said to myself, "Self, you dumb azz, you forgot your chain needs sharpening!"

    First think i noticed was the sloppy cut. Yeah. Looks really amateur doesn't it. Glad it isn't one of my cuts your judging.

    Haha. I was there years ago. But I did try just wasnt great. Back when I had one saw and chain and hand filed and needed new files I burned through a few cuts sometimes.

    I have more than one chain now
    I just keep several sharp ones and then sharpen them later.

    I do the same thing. Going to pick up two more chains for the 034 tomorrow, got 5 for the 250.
