On my way back from town today, look what I found at the intersection here in town. I said lookei what we have here! So I pulled over and rescued it and threw it on my floorboard of the car. It will be stacked with someof its friends to be burned in 2 years or so.

Wife thought I was crazy when I showed her the pic. I knew you guys would appreciate it!

Only a true hoarder pulls over for 1 round and then documents it!

Poor little guy all alone in such a big world.

Did that for 3 pieces of ash this past weekend in three different locations. Must have been following him.

If you think about it, that was much less effort for that piece than cutting a tree, bucking it, splitting it, stacking it, seasoning it, etc...

Too bad you can't find loads on the side of the road.

I've seen a round by the side of the road twice so far this fall, and forgot to go back and pick 'em up both times! Dammit!
