    Hi,
I am looking for a good heating flush unit. This unit has come up and appears as if it will fit into my arched fireplace. But, I hear there are some mixed reviews and I am a little nervous about the cat system. My parents had an old catalytic converter stove years ago and it was junk. I imagine they have come a long way. Can anyone comment on this stove? I have a larger house, at 3900 sqft. This will be to supplement my current oil heat. I realize it won't heat as well as a free standing stove, but I greatly prefer the look of the flush mount. Any feedback on this insert?

I'm also in a similar situation so thanks for your question and I look forward to hearing what others here have to say.

Do not have any experience with either of these stoves but I can say without a doubt I put in my Buck 91 cat insert 3 years ago and love it. Any of the new stoves need well seasoned wood to operate well though, if not any of them will seem like junk.
