Any Red Sox fans here? Looks like they are going to the series now, up 5-2 in the 8th.

Go Sox !!!!!!!! After a couple of "almost" home runs, Victorino definitely made up for both of those.

Originally from Revere MA, just outside of Boston; grew up going to Fenway with my dad and brothers :)

Hopefully it'll be a good WS. Anyone want to buy a pair of tickets for me in St Louis?

Well, the Sox are ruining the Cards in game one tonight. Lester has his stuff. Robbed of an earlier Grand Slam, Big Papi just banged in a 2 run homer to make it 7-zip.

Well, Papi did it again with a 2 run homer, but it was not enough last night (bad errors by the Sox). Tied up and heading to St Louis.

Well, last night sucked, with an error and interference to end the tie in the 9th inning.

But hark! Tonight they get past a bad error and a wild pitch, and they go to the yard again to win.

All tied up, and they have to go back to Boston for at least one game now.

Can we see at least one clean game this series. My hats off to the Sox tonight... they overcame their mistakes.

Well, I dunno, maybe the Cards handed it to the Sox the way the Sox handed it to them last night. Picked off at foist!

I do not remember seeing a series this full of errors, or weird, bad, overturned and controversial calls though. And next year they are going with challenges like football?

How did you get to be a Red Sox fan if you are in the PNW?

You never heard of Red Sox Nation? We are out here... at the Seattle games there are 2:1 Sox to Mariner fans.
I spent some time as an engineer in the Boston area. Chelmsford, Burlington, and Marlborough. I would trade staying over weekends there to save the company money on airfare in trade for unlimited rental car miles. I barnstormed on weekends all over NE. But mostly my niece got me into being a Sox fan. She manages a sports bar here.

That be a ways out there. That area reminds me of here, actually. I went through Gardner on my way to Mt. Holyoke on one trip, to see where my mom went to college.
