Took down this oak at the top of my shooting berm this morning. Last year it only leafed out about 75% and this year it looked like less than 50% was going to. So I decided it was time for it to go. Little man watched from a safe distance as it fell and after it was down and I decided it was safe, he turned it into a jungle gym. He's yelling "I'm king of the trees!" in the picture.
Nice job getting it down safely. Fond memories of my childhood when dad cut trees down and I'd be climbing all over them.
