Had the 2nd and last load of spruce dumped the other day from helping out my sons freind.heaviest log was 1320 lbs on crane scale. Also a new load of red maple logs from a tree service.i got the spruce bucked up last night. Maybe I’ll get the maple after work today or split a little spruce to make some room

Good amount of wood there. How much you thinkin' cord wise?

Youre a die hard to be making firewood in this heat wave. Of course I'd be there doing the same.
Its a special kind of crazy! :loco:

The first dump trailer of spruce was a little over a cord and a half.the red maple looks to be over 2 cords.i know it’s hot but what am i supposed to do come home from work and sit on the couch? I’d rather sweat a little bit, besides one tank of fuel yesterday in the 661 to buck up that spruce. It didn’t take too long. My wood yard is pretty shady on the afternoon so it’s not too bad.

I'd be doing the same. In the shade it wasn't too bad here either.
