I've used it. Need to let it cure a LONG time (3 weeks .. ) It doesn't mind if you drain the tank when the saw will be idle.
Warped5 that long eh? Well I could at least reassemble the saw this weekend just not put any fuel in it and let it cure.
Last time I used it was on a dual line outboard tank for a Johnson seahorse 10 1956 model. Finding an NOS tank for one was difficult.
Nixon I didn’t thin it out, I just sandblasted the tank, then washed it out with soapy water and dried it out. Should I add a second coat? It’s just a chainsaw tank.
I think you should be good with what you did . I only thinned out mine as it madeit easier to get it to flow all around the tank.
