:mad:I need to vent. Where I live is way back a dirt road 7/10 of a mile from the hardtop road. On top of a mountain. Only thing back my road is a few hunting camps. These jag-offs keep blazin by my house on 4 wheelers. I told them slow it down and they continue. People have no respect. I can't believe it. I mean in the first place I would never even consider flying past someone's house that fast especially back this road let alone continue to do it after being told not to. Nicely I might add. In all honesty I just want to go out on the road and stop them and beat the first one with a ball bat and say I told you to stop. You didn't. So now you pay. That's what's wrong with this country. In all honesty, think about it if @&!$ like that happened more often I bet people wouldn't be such pricks. Every aspect. Kill someone, your shot, steal something, cut of the hand, other countries torture, we torture. Ok I'm done!

Has it been raining a lot lately? If so go above your driveway and cut a few trenches about 8 to 10 inches deep following the down hill grade the first one to hit that will make sure the rest slow down

You asked nicely, now to protect yourself from lawsuit I have an idea that might work and still protect you. How about get a few plastic speedbumps and anchor them down, but make sure you have some signs to put up that says "caution speedbumps"

Couple a jag-offs who have a hunting camp back this road. Only up here 6 times a year tops.

    Private rd. or public access?
I'd start with a call to the local sheriff. Let them pay them a visit this weekend. It's what they do.
Only thing I'll post is to keep it legal and notify authorities.
is 15lb test monofilament stretched across the road legal? I'm not sure. ;)

When you hear 'em coming maybe some rusty ole barb wire falls on the road...not a lot, just enough to tear up tires and or wrap around stuff...now where did that come from?! Of course you'd hafta pick it up after they pass so others driving by don't get into it.
    Is that going too far?

Private road. Sheriff has been notified. I would end up going to jail if I didn't call.

Try this on. Put some used targets on the other side of the road and when they are around, discharge your gun (a lot) (not actually across the road) and then when they go by, make it appear that you have been "target practicing"
Maybe video yourself so you you have proof that you weren't actually shooting across the road.
