Radio Thermostat Discontinues Phone App

I have owned the Radio Thermostat product for over 10 years and now the company is discontinuing their phone app. Won't be able to control my Castille remotely anymore.

What are others using for WiFi thermostat control on the Quad Castille???

 

I have two of these units; one for the pellet stove and one for the boiler and AC units. I’m bummed they are discontinuing them. On the other hand, what a run! I can’t think of one tech item that’s soldiered on reliably for 10 year that didn’t need an update.

I’m going to guess any wifi t-stat that can be used with a transformer instead of the C-wire would work. I believe most pellet stoves run on a milivolt system and require the extra power to keep the wifi going.
