Hi it's 1130pm & the quad is puzzling me off again.
I ignite & only get green light in my control box- then she goes out..

Is the green light proof of flame ? Or should I also get a red light INSIDE The control box?

Feed gate wide open & everything else is normal to my eye..

I have a new thermocouple, but can't find instructions to remove the cover. Is the cover fragile? Anyway to screw up a thermocouple swap??

    Thanks
    Ray

Sorry we weren't much help. But us old guys need  sometime. 5.00 AM comes way too fast. :BrianK:

    Paging kappel15 or slvrblkk

Ifn it were me, I'd slip the cover off and carefully clean the thermocouple.. Might just be dirty and ash acts like an insulator. No see 600ºF no worky......... IIRC, you see the green and another lamp that signal its seeing fire?? But I have CRS and

Thanks pigs- installed 07.. I emptied hopped, put an inspection camera inside & watched August spin. I did this because I can hear auger engage but not dropping pellets, granted I was watching spin with no load in an empty hopper.

How much fines you got built up? Quads augers no likely da fines!! Could also have a pellet bridge or a few long ones stuck up top. Put a few handfuls of pellets in the pot and see if it lights. If it does and then goes out you might have to pull the auger to clear it??

Had my pipe camera in there, & vacced the hopper down to the steel.
I don't get how pulling auger comes into plays?? Can crap lurk up high in auger tube?

I did the hand feed & fired, a short lived fire though.

(When I had camera in, I was really hoping to find a pen cap auger like I did in 2012)

If it is the older stove, don't think the blue flashing lamp stays on,only flashes code right after plugging in

How about checking the high limit on the auger chute to see if it tripped? There is a reset button on it.

Will do. But wouldn't that stopnsequence of initial ignition if tripped?
