It's -30 wind chill. 5/6 zones demanding heat. Solid 20 degree drop in return vs supply. All the pumps are still on low. Got a 26 hour burn from the boiler in this weather last night. If I set the system on kill mode I'd probably melt the house.
My neighbor's boiler hasn't gotten above 170 (set for 180) since yesterday because there is so much heat load. Been filling it every 4-6 hours. To be fair it is hooked up to 3 houses, but they aren't keeping up to thermostat set temp. The wind is preposterous.
I have it 77 inside right now. Trying to build up a good amount of warmth before the last pack of the day. What temps are the zones seeing to demand more?
Have a G4000, no problems keeping my house at 70. Still loading every 12 hours. So far, I’m thoroughly impressed with it.
It is a GS200. They don't make this one any more...basically a less expensive G200. The shaker handles are inside the back door, the sheet metal on the outside is less attractive, no smoke bypass for loading, and it didn't have the window to see the secondary burn chamber. I don't care about that stuff and it saved me a couple grand. All the internals are the same otherwise. Great unit so far. Haven't added a drop of water since I installed it, very low wood consumption, 24+ hour burns in the worst weather.
Not following you here? The G4000 is the same size I think, no? Has the features you mentioned, plus active air control on primary and secondary (O2 sensor) Partial loads still, probably?
