I mentioned this broken hickory stem a while ago. Its been hung up since a bad storm last summer. It was hung up good in the crotch and couldnt be cut down piece by piece. I also tried yanking it with a strap with the Ranger to no avail it was just too heavy and also digging into the ground. After some youtube research I grabbed 2 20k snatchblocks from HF and a few other pieces of hardware. Went with a "triple line static" setup per this video and after a few tries and having to cut a chunk off that was really digging into the ground success! I'll CSS it tommorow.
