You can set it in the eve, and when you wake up check to see what temperature the stove or stove pipe got to (both min and max). Works great. I cracked the glass as you can see but it's only cosmetic. I used to use this on my stove pipe, but now I have stainless so the magnet doesn't work. I paid $80 plus shipping and tax for this unit.
