Man! If I could sell firewood for those prices, I would start cutting to sell. Oklahoma depending on where it is, is a lot more tree less then Arkansas, You couldn't get anywhere near those prices here, unless it was small bundles at a Speedy Mart, maybe in a large town.

By me a face cord goes for $ 109.00 dumped in driveway plus delivery charge. Not too far off from Oklahoma

Looks like they sell for the wood fired BBQ market with those species.

A garden center near me is selling cords for 330. He told me sales are way up with people staying home. Over the summer he couldn’t keep up with demand from people with backyard fire rings. He sold all that he processed and then had to buy some wholesale.

That’s 81 miles from me and right at 4X the price.

Thanks much Mr. Happy for the link, that is awesome and right in line with what we see from time to time... a seller who promotes his wood in a professional manner and gets a premium price. There needs to be more of this because finding, processing and seasoning firewood is an incredibly laborious endeavor. It far too often sells way, way too cheap.

As for that seller focusing on barbeque sales, I don't think so. Probably a very small percentage is that.

I love how the guy's name is Rickert and he sells only ricks. That is brilliant!

I also love that he does NOT deliver and gets those prices!

I couldn’t agree more! I’m going to try to sell some firewood this spring, I’m not going to sell for any less than $100 a truck load picked up. If people know how much cheaper that is than the gas station crap I’d sell out in a hurry.

This company is about 20 miles west of me. They advertise HEAVY on the radio for their tree service. I have bought some apple off them before for cooking when I ran out.

they are in a very high traffic area and visible from a major highway to and from Tulsa, and do a good job on their tree jobs. They are higher than most around here but still sell a crap load of wood. The wood yard up there is crazy big for these parts. I ain’t mad at them, if I thought I could get that I would too I suppose.

Definitely higher than around here. Their "rick"/face cord is also a pickup price.

If they can get it, why not!!!
