Today, I had the opportunity to preach at our church. Sometimes I fill in for our pastor when he is out. If you are interested, the link is here: Living Hopefully - by Greg Heller - The Vine Community | A Church in Deer Park WA The topic is "Living Hopefully." This afternoon, I am picking up logs, which were dead standing lodgepole pines, that I cut down a few weeks ago.
Very nice sermon on a subject you really don't hear about. Thank you for sharing - the last part was very helpful.
Don't hear much on hope..... glad you covered it and glad you filled in for the pastor so he can get refreshed.
Thank you for serving brother. I just listened while surfing the rest of the posts, good message on hope, easy to lose hope in today's day and age if your eyes aren't fixed on the right thing. We are in a series on the war on faith and family, message today was focused on women, last week on us men.
I'm glad it was a blessing to some folks here. In case you didn't gather it, it was a small crowd this week. Today is Bloomsday, an annual event in Spokane, and church attendance is about half of usual. And here is the wood brought in today. Lots of lodgepole pine, some Douglas fir, some ponderosa pine, a tiny bit of Tamarack (larch).
Must have been FHC fill in day..... Our pastor was traveling to several different states to pick up his two college sons so I filled in
Perfect day. Preach the word in worship with brothers and sisters and then do a little different kinda harvesting later on
Have downloaded it and will listen to it later. Good for you to fill in no matter what the attendance.
