I went yesterday and cut the rest of the poplar. Filled about 2/3 of the PU. Cut the sugar maple to balance the load. Had to cut a few knot free chunks out of the maple trunk to fill out the load. First pic the rest of the poplar Dang pricker bush snagged my ski cap when i was carrying the chunks. Knotty maple left behind. Split more of the poplar at my friends. Strange splitting qualities and grain texture. Ill take small quantities again if i find it. Has to be primo though. Guess im spoiled!
