    Have to demo an above ground pool today. Do the liners make good stack covers? The pool was used last year and ice damaged over the Winter so i dont know its age. Ill try and find out today.

    When we replaced our last liner I didn't even consider using it. Believe I read someone say it wouldn't last long and I didn't want to take the chance of pieces everywhere.

    You bet they do. Just make sure to turn it upside down so all the water will drain out of it. You're welcome! :smoke:

    :rofl: :lol::rofl: :lol::rofl: :lol:

    Don't know, but thinking like you, maybe they would. First thing I would do, before anything else, is cut it down to manageable sizes.

    Im thinking of the part of the liner that doesnt get wet and exposed to the sun seems to last. Be nice for a holz hausen cover. Be one huge HH thats for sure.

    I have used the metal for top cover. Works pretty well when weighted down.

    That thought crossed my mind vs scrapping it. Dont know if its steel or aluminum.

    So this is a proper above ground pool as opposed to a “pool in a box?”

    The pool wall would work for wood cover, I would think. Cut to length.

    I have used nothing but pool liners for years now when I need to cover wood piles. They work great and hold up like nothing else. I will warn that they will get rigid/stiff when it’s cold out but bend just like a tarp when it gets warm again. I’d grab all you can.

    Liner should be good. Side walls even better.

    Pool down. Sidewall which turned out to be steel (52" wide IIRC) rolled up to be used as top cover. Have one 3' wide oak stack that ill cut a 25" piece for. Nice that the metal had been folded over 180* so no sharp edges. Liner to be cut up as well. IMG_3136.JPG IMG_3137.JPG IMG_3138.JPG IMG_3139.JPG IMG_3140.JPG
    Pool was 5-7 years old and liner 2-3 so should last me for years to come.
