Here's another one of those posts that no one will likely care about, but I thought I'd post it anyway! I use Murray's pomade, which is an ethnic pomade usually used by black persons. I have really thick hair, so I need something stronger than gel or hair spray. Back in the day, people used to put the Murray's on the wood stove to warm it up to make it easier to apply. Of course, that doesn't work in the summer. My solution is to mix it half an half with petroleum jelly.

I saved one of my empty tins... image.jpg

And we will fill it up with the jelly... image.jpg

And leave it on the stove to become liquid... image.jpg

    To be continued...

Didn't know how else to say it, it's an ethnic product. You buy it in the ethnic section at Walmart. They came out with a special version with Obama on the can.

Once the pomade and jelly begins to melt, dump into a sauce pan and let melt completely. Mix to combine... image.jpg

Dump back into cans and leave to cool. Your Murray's will now be easy to use and will not require heating. image.jpg

LOL! I'm not PC in anyway. Say it as you see it and don't worry about what anyone says. Everybody has been trained to walk on egg shells about every word.

Looks like a good product. I wouldn't imagine that many ethnic people would be heating this product on a woodstove. Woodstoves aren't typically found in urban areas.

What are you doing with this stuff?

And its not racist blacks are black whites are white. Anyone who says otherwise has been brainwashed by the media and Hollywood types. You dont have to point it out all the time but in a forum like this he did the right thing describing it.

One of my favorite loggers is black. He makes black jokes all the time....says things like "hey you want an orange?
I say no I'm good , thanks. Then he will jokin g say " what you dont want the black mans orange" . Other times I have been there while he gets his food brought to him from his truck driver that stopped by a place on the way to the woods. He says "get you a piece of chicken" I say I do t want to eat your lunch then says no I got plenty grab a piece" I have then taken a chicken tender. So see its not that I don t want to eat what he is eating just I an not hungry for an orange.

And seriously the chicken incident occurred that is not just a stereotype.

I use homemade lye based soap to wash my hair and every couple days I use dandruff shampoo...that's it. I keep my hair short.

Jojoba oil is a fine product. Closest thing on earth to natural human oils. Keeps a beard tame.

My hair is not overly oily but oily enough that I do t need go do putting g stuff in it. Thats the main reason. I wash it. It gets oily, dirt sticks to oil and it stinks. Even hair an inch or less can stink. Can't imagine guys who have long hair who dont wash it...those hippie dreaded types. Their hair must just be nasty

Mine gets over dry and frizzy, this stuff gets it to normal. Here is a pic after it cooled. Each tin will last close to a year.
