I did an install for a friend last Friday. She had bought the wood stove back in October and just couldn't find someone willing to do it. I had been real busy with my work and side business up until Christmas. I called a chimney company in Charlotte to do the install, but they were way behind and wanted about $3K with parts to install a chimney. We bought most of the stuff at Lowes and went with a Selkirk Super Vent chimney system through the Cathedral Ceiling. It was just a straight run about 15' long but it still took the better part of a day. I had to run back to Lowes for more Class "A" pipe, the correct size flashing and a couple of fire bricks. I will try to get more pictures of the chimney portion of the install. Parts ran about $500 for the whole chimney.

I was really impressed with this Stove since it's the first EPA stove I have fired up. It really burned great and very hot. The draft was great and we ran it slow for a while to burn off and cure the paint. It really threw out a good amount of heat even without the blower running. The only thing I did not like about the stove was the way you have to clean out the ashes. A fire brick cover has to be pulled up to push the ashes into the ash pan below. In my older stove the ashes just fall into the pan and I can empty it without disturbing the fire or fire box.

It's a great little stove for someone on a budget.
