In an attempt to eat healthy I guess, we made sandwiches.

    These include:
    Bacon
Peppered Turkey (deli at the grocery store)
Spring mix (salad, hence the healthy part)
    Red onion
    Roma tomato
    Pepperjack cheese
    Cheddar cheese
    A dab of each:
    Bacon Ranch dressing
Marie Callendars Spinach Dressing (this stuff was made by god, I swear)
    Mayo
    Italian dressing
    Olive oil
    salt
fresh ground pepper (if you don't fresh grind your pepper your food should slap you lol)

Cook/chop all ingredients into small bits and throw into a mixing bowl. Mix, and stuff into Pita sandwich bread. I'm not chitting you, these were awesome and the 2 sandwiches I ate filled me up to the brim. Inexpensive, easy, and fast. The longest part was cooking the bacon on the Traeger. Add anything you want, use ham use whatever. I wish I had some radishes to toss in, that would have been awesome, maybe even some sprouts.

Looks good. I swear if I followed and made 1/2 the recipes I see on FWHC I'd be 20 lbs heavier. Not saying this one is gonna do it but all the meat recipes, the are all over the place.

I always thought PITA = pain in the azz.

    They make PITA bread?

My cooking "skills" mostly don't exist. The kitchen stove might get used once a week if that.

I always make the mistake of reading these food threads late at night before I go to bed. Now I am hungry. Send me one of your pitas by email! What a great idea. I will have to try making some this week.

They were amazing WW, and very versatile. Add any veggie etc. that you want and it will be GOOD. I don't suggest leaving out the mayo and salad dressing though :D

Are exact measurements needed or do you just add to taste?

Add as much of any of them as you see fit certified. I like my meat so I went pretty heavy on the proteins.

Sounds good just didn't know if you had some secrecy blend of the mayo, olive oil, and other ingredients like that. Man it looks so good I am going to see if I can get my wife to whip this up for dinner one night next week!

Right where I want to be.
I sincerely believe that after the 1st bite, all the calories and bad stuff fall out of whatever it is you're eating.
The good taste and healthy stuff remain.
Also, life is short, eat dessert 1st.
