I split the pine we took down the other day, we had four bucket loads which will get stacked next week. I'm thinking we have 3-4 face cord from what's in the pile.

The picture of the tree is about the only one I saw with color and the last two pictures are the pile of mostly pine with some hemlock. 102_0525.JPG

Seems to me you have the hang of running your bucket. Are you still thinking about getting a plow before winter? Awesome pic's as always! I'm very jealous.

So I am thinking a face cord is 8' long 4' tall and 16" wide. Is that correct.

Everything looks wet there, it is a good thing you got it split up. Looking good.

Back before I measured out the log before I bucked it up, I had cut a round to long and the wife had a problem getting the split in the wood stove so after that I mark out each round so it's 15 inches.

Yes, but that gives us extra room so we don't worry about the wood hitting the glass.

My son-in-laws 18yo boy decided to shut the door anyway even though the wood didn't quite fit.
You guessed it,(broke) new glass needed for a Lopi Answer with an etched elk glass, not cheap
