Oh yea Pic of the Mts From the stack, the sun is right in my face. Had to walk a ways to get the sun angle right so you can see the mt peaks.
I was wondering whether you lived in town. Looks like you are pretty close to other building from the pics.
Love that squeaky snow sound when it's wicked cold. Ever do the trick of throwing a cup of hot water into the air and have it vaporize, don't think it gets cold enough here for that.
A real dry fluffy snow, used the blower for most of the snow clearing today. Around -30 that works, no water hits the ground. A good science teaching thing, will have to try it with the granddaughter
Great pics Dave I always enjoy looking at your wood....stacks Im afraid thats a tad to cold for me though I wasnt happy with the 32* this morning Im not sure I can handle any negative temps.
I don't know how you stay sane with such little sunlight. I've been considering one of those light that help with seasonal affected disorder, aka winter blues. I never have any energy or motivation to do anything after work from December to February. My uncle uses one and says it makes a world of difference by just sitting under it for 30 minutes each morning. Anybody ever tried one?
Yup it made me want to move away from it...... Annoying thing. To be fair we live in Michigan heck I don't even see sunlight from December through early March. Get up at 4:30 Go to work at 5am start at 6:30am and get out at 5:00pm it's already dark when we get home.
Typically Mid August starts the rainy season June (long daylight) , July & 1st of Aug for best weather, **normally**. March good snow machining April sucks, break up. Worst month IMO. Whole State smell like dog doo, as it all thaws at once, muddy chitty mess The 14 in Jul is a data error (I think )
