I sort of wanted to haul some sand into some of the trails in the woods but not too many places I want to go in this wind. It is pretty strong right now.
While on one of my walks along the main trail, I found a small thumb sized piece of Maple branch sticking out of the ground.......in the path. I haven't pulled it out to see how far it embedded, but I thought if I leave it, it'll be a reminder to stay out of the woods on windy days. It's not the first one I've found.
94* here just a slight breeze I'm staying out of the woods to hot. suppose to cool down tonight some storms then get average temp's for the weekend according to the 50%er's looks like a good stretch of pretty nice weather.

Holy smokes! That is too hot any time of the year. We got down to 43 degrees this morning. At present (11:00) it is 47. I have not dared look into the woods to see how much more came down.
