11 years ago I was aware of THON, but not involved beyond making small random donations. After our daughter was diagnosed with brain cancer we got a crash course in the world of pediatric cancer. THON is the world's largest student run philanthropy and the kids do a great job raising money and supporting the families impacted with cancer.
