The SPG9000 is a beauty to look at :)

It does have an optional blower you can purchase, or be 100% power free.

That Breckwell must require a certain amount of vertical rise for drafting?

OK, both stoves need a vertical flueto work, the wiseway flue hase to be perfect to meet the standards it proports, the breckwell stove has to be "tennendened" to,you have to be there to "dump" the pelletes.

every time i see a thread for a non powered pellet stove it makes me start thinking about a battery run TEG recharged stove. i still think i could do it , but gawd i dont have the time to do the research i'd have to do to determine what i would have to capture heat wise to hold the battery charge.

Just need a mini closed-system steam generator.

heat makes steam which turns the turbine generator, moisture collects, and comes back around like a distiller on the cool path back into the pot to boil again and steam again.

I wish i was an engineer.

It would probably overheat or make too much pressure and need a steam blow off of sorts.... but then bam, instant humidifier for the house too.
but then it would need to be hard-water line plumbed.....

or not. i know my fridge ice maker just has a T-tap into a copper hardline with a plastic runner tube to the fridge. A stove could use a similar thing.

Hell, It would be hard plumbed from the factory and also keep the whole house waster pipes warmed for baseboard homes too.

    HMMM, a "steampunk" pellet stove.:D

this is the idea in a way, to use some of the heat produced to convert back to power to run the electronics, motors and bloweres and such.

Acutally many people have built pellet stoves that create their own electricity, and Rika got paid by their gov. to build some that actually run an electrical generator, and so far we are probably 10 years away from making it cost efficent. But pellet stoves that do hydronic and/or dhw are very common in europe, and now lots of chinese knockoffs, just noone importing many.
