The smoker has been getting used a little more often with the holidays upon us. Couple weeks ago I did some ribs for family and friends.

For thanksgiving I smoked turkey but didn't get any good pics. I ended up smoking another turkey the beginning of the week. These are the first turkeys that I put in a brine. They will not be the last. Really tender and juicy.

Last but not least, I smoked a pork butt for about 8hours then tossed it in a crock pot for about 5 more hours with apple juice, honey and seasoning. Once I pull it apart I mix in more brown sugar and seasoning with some apple juice and let it cook for a couple hours. I didn't have any buns so I used hotdog buns. Pulled pork with spicy brown mustard and the other with horseradish. Nice and zesty.
