    Hello
The manual wire diagram does not show the capacitor and the wires are not quite the same!

    The old capacitor broke.
I am trying to hook up a new 7.5 MFD oval capacitor Dayton part # 2MDY7C to the 1240 CFM Dayton 4C5898 Dayton Blower to the magnum 7500 Furnace. These parts are available from Grainger.

There are 2 white wires coming from the stove.
They both have female spade clips

The 1240 CFM Dayton Blower has:
3 wires with male spade lugs
    Red
    Black
    White
2 wires with female spade lugs:
    Light brown
Dark brown with a white stripe:

    Therefore:
I know on the BC-AC with the upgraded 105 CFM Blower that the red wire is not used.
The red wire from the blower has no score marks so it looks like it was never hooked up! Correct, that is the low speed winding wire hook up.

So the Black & White go to the 2 white wires coming from the furnace! Correct

The light brown and dark brown with the white stripe go to the new capacitor. No polarity so does not matter which wire is which. Correct

    This is my first attempt.
    Has anyone else done this?

Bingo, furnace warmed up and blower went on!
    See last 2 pics

Pic 1 - wire diagram in Owner’s Manual shows 2 white wires coming from the 1240 CFM Blower.
This blower has 5 wires coming from it and only 1 wire is white! This is what I am talking about!!!
