    He came to Mass quite a few years ago. Played a concert at Fenway Park. Supposedly made them take down any posters of the players because he said the leather ball gloves they had were representative of being cruel to animals. I kind of lost interest in him after that...

    Never was much of a McCartney fan, Lennon only marginally more. Now Harrison, that's the man. I really think he didn't get the recognition he deserved in the Beatles. Then again, neither did Ringo.

    yes he was the drummer for the beetles,he was the the drummer for 2 years.he must be 72 years old now.

    and don't forget Eddie Murphy (at least the character he played on SNL). He played the sax and wrote all the Beatles's music, but John and Paul conspired against him and kicked him out of the band. It really was a funny skit, especially when they played "love me do - man".
