Last week they had the annual blood test at a local church here abouts. It's put on by a hospital in Waterloo and is much cheaper and pretty much better than what the local sawbones does. Results came back and it said i have some blood left in me and what wasn't diluted with Budweiser was AOK. No red flags for cholesterol, not lacking of anything mineral that is on the Periodic tables or even a touch of Dutch Elm disease (I'm German and cut a lot of elm for farwood so I was really worried about that). Then I went to the docs to get my 6 month script renewed for my BP meds. Was a little worried that I would fail that test but it seems that I am on the road to recovery on that too. I owe it all to lots of cigarettes and a shot and a chaser right before test time. I dont feel any better but they all tell me i am doing fine. I guess the good Lord aint ready for me yet and the Devil dont want the competition so tomorrow is just another day.
Glad to hear that apparently, you may not be as good as you once were, but, no doubt, are as good once as you ever were.....................
Good to hear that beer is killing any of that nasty Dutch Elm stuff in ya! And glad your doing well man!
Nah, they just gave up on trying to change you? That, and probably a bit intimidated by the arsenal you were probably wearing at the time!
Good country living is way better for you in my mind, instead of running around on a treadmill. Just one man's opinion.
