I am going to list these 2 saws here first. I will not list them on the other sites until this site has had a chance for a few days first. These 2 saws belong to a friend of mine. What we have here, is a Partner P55, first. This saw is really clean for it's age. Runs out nice, starts, oils, cuts, does all the things a guy would want a saw to do! Imagine that! Comes with a 16 inch bar that is real new, although it doesn't look like it. This is the saw on the left in the pictures. Oh hey! You even get a bar cover with this one! Second saw is the R420T. Or at least I think it is a T . You can see in the pics the initial T below the R420 Designation. This saw is also pretty clean considering it's age. It runs out nice, starts oils, cuts like it should. Comes with a 20 inch bar. Either one of these saws could be purchased, taken out to the woods, tuned to your specific area's conditions and put to work. They need nothing. The price for these saws is $180.00 shipped to the lower 48. If you are interested in either one, send me a message and we can go from there. Thanks for looking! Ted
$180 shipped is a great deal! Hoping someone from here snags these. For the guy who has one saw, this is an opportunity to get a solid saw, for a cheap price. Having a second saw to cut yourself out, or to eliminate the need for fueling in the field. (I normally bring an average of 3 saws. When one of them run out of fuel? I just grab another).
I see I didn't make it clear enough, and I can't find how to edit my post, the price is for each saw, not 180.00 for both of them.
There should be an edit button on the bottom of the post you made. If its over so many hours you can no longer edit like you could "over there". Get a mid to do it....Dex. MM?
I have actually saved my husky 372 with the earthquake 4518 before when it was pinched. Did not want to uses anything else as the tree was in a precarious situation and it it were to roll and pull it out of my hand. Well id rather it be the quake than the ms650
Partner of Sweden was ahead of their time.To my knowledge the only saw McCulloch had that was made by someone else was the ProMac 1000 from 1976 to 1978 or so.100cc/6 cubic inch around 19lbs powerhead only weight.Real workhorse,48" bar/chain was no problem for this.Virtually identical to the Partner P100 saw sold around the same time.Just different stickers basically. The Mac version was often called the McToaster,if you ever seen one, you'll know why... In the 1980's & until the Electrolux takeover in late '90's Partner was the king of portable saws used for cutting concrete, other masonry, natural stone & steel/iron. Several different models either gasoline powered, hydraulic, pneumatic & electric. They invented the gas powered power cutter in 1958.First used in rescue work on airplane & vehicle crashes. Also the "ring saw" which had a watercooled 2 piece round diamond coated disc that was driven near the edge, instead of the normal arbor in center of a round blade. That allowed a 14" wheel to cut masonry 10 inches thick, instead of the normal 5 inches. Bought this in Spring 1994 - their smallest model but perfect for my needs.4.3 cubic inch/71cc,about 21 pounds.Did a few concrete, demolition & some stone masonry jobs after work & paid it off in barely a month.Back then it seen regular use since I was always doing side jobs for extra cash. Rarely gets used more than 2-3 times yearly now,but its worth more to keep it than I could get selling it.Considering what it would cost to rent a newer one for a day or so every time it was needed.... All of the Partner line of equipment which was continued has been under the Husqvarna name since the early 2000's.They also bought out a couple more companies that were independent from the '70's through the late '90's.
What? $180 for both? Shipped as well? Minus $40 for shipping, the buyer would be paying $70 for each saw? A deal that may not last long.. (biting my nails.....)
No, 180 each. See earlier post I made regarding that. I didn't see that omission until it was too late to edit it.
Sorry. I read the OP as being $180 each. I read the post above to quickly. $180 a piece shipped is still a fantastic deal.
I read the OP the way he meant 2 saws for $180 each. But I was reading fast and did not think 2 saws would sell for that price. No takers yet??
