scored 6 of these pallet boxes tonight from a free craigslist find! They should help in moving wood around this year until I get my portable racks made

For this year I was going to load them up with wood then move them over to my covered porch and set them on furniture Dolly's to rotate them in as I use them. I'll reload a few at a time as they go empty to keep a rotation but also to save from handling the wood twice. In the past I would load wood into the loader bucket from the stacks on the gravel drive then unload it onto the porch stacks before I burn it.

With the boxes I can just load them up then set them on the porch until they get loaded in the stove.

Is that snow recent, or an old picture?

I have six of them up to camp, laid on their side, opening to the front, screwed onto pallets with plywood on to tops and backs for wood storage. Tarped for the elements, it works well

Eric, that pic is only the end of Nov., you should see how deep the snow gets by Feb. by Mt. Washington. Five feet on the ground last winter especially with elevation.

Haha, yea it was pouring down rain all day yesterday so I put them on the pallets so they might dry out faster. I'm hoping to load them up this weekend

Thanks Dennis! I just added those to it. I made the blinders out of plant containers. Rear work light and 2 top lights with switch and blinders cost me $42 total!

Clever on the blinders, and you even matched the switch cover to the tractor.

Gasifier is curious about a cheap LED light setup for his orange tractor... what wattage did you choose and style (fog/ spot/ combo)? Would you go brighter?
