I used to have an 1830's farmhouse that took 8 cord/year to heat in the Newmac combo furnace. We would pack about 6 cords in the basement in the Fall and put the other 2 in during January thaw.

Big house, very drafty, poor insulation. Now have a 1300 square foot tight and well insulated house. Two cords and about 25 gallons of fuel oil does it. Piece of cake.

    Much better!
So yes, still need to cut for dad but he went on vaca so that’s on hold. That’s what had me behind carrying to my basement. And I couldn’t get more for myself because my stacks were packed full. Now I can. Bike shop boss had a couple dead standing trees in his back 40, so I’ll be going in next week to talk to him. If it’s all ash, it may go to the parents, since dad doesn’t season wood more than one year. I think I have them talked into getting an insert. :D

I gotta ask, how long did that take to type out? Kinda like a self imposed punishment...you know, like when teach made you write the same thing on the blackboard 100 times...I suppose that's not allowed these days...:picard:

    cut and paste stamping
only had to type the word jump once with a comma and a space
on a Mac keyboard cut ( highlight and then control-c) and then paste (control-v) . for multiple pastes keep the control key held down and then it's just a matter of hitting the v key as many times as you want . easy-peasy. I think the v key is used as a symbol for insert but also because it is next to the c key, but I really don't know the history of computer keyboards nor do I know anywhere near as many keyboard shortcuts as I would like or could use.
I used to know quite a few pc keyboard shortcuts but I haven't used a PC keyboard now since I retired and closed my business 9 years ago.

LOL, I couldn't possibly type that out the hard way, one word at a time. It would be fraught with typos, punctuation and speeling errors.

Definitely one here. Whether they are playing well or not, they always play HOP jump around at Vamp Randall in Madison.

Nice job on the migration! I need to start mine...

That stadium gets ROCKING from that. No matter of you are a fan of that team or not, everyone needs to be a part of that tradition.

I’ve seen it at times appear to be borderline scary(in relation to structure movements), making cameras shake. I think a lot of opposing teams are embracing the tradition. It’s awesome.
