Had some oysters tonight that were amazing. Cooked over the fire with butter, parmesan, bacon, and a jalepeno. These were really good, my little girls loved them so much that I only got to eat 1.

The oysters wouldn't even made it to the grill if I were around. ;)

Those look really nice swags, love the jalepeno touch!

I've got two teenage daughters of my own so I know what you mean about ending up on the short end of the oysters. That will be a lifelong trend, wouldn't have it any other way!

Got to have any animal cooked before I'll consider eating it. That was a good combination to have. I live fairly near the ocean and have two seafood markets near so we have good access to fresh products. The only oysters I have eaten are in a stew or fried.

I love oysters:drool: I get the Eastern Shore seasides down here and let me tell you they are some of the best Ive ever had:drool: I like to throw a couple dozen on the grill until they pop and eat several right out of the bag while Im waiting for them to pop which sometimes takes a long time if I forget to turn on the grill:whistle:

How long do you leave the half shells on the grill?

She also put a lid over them to keep some of the heat around the oysters
