Extreme weather topples champion trees at Hagley, spawns new life

One of the largest known osage orange trees has fallen. It is believed that the tree was over 300 years old and the seeds originated from the Lewis and Clarke expedition.

This tree was huge. I just wish I was allowed to get some of the firewood! Unfortunately not!
