With the amount of chains I am getting to grind, I ordered a second chain grinder but this time not another Oregon (Tecomec) but a 'Mopron' which is the Chinese copy. It's was 102 bucks delivery included and appears to be an exact copy of the Oregon right down to the tilting vise table. I'll find out how good or bad it is today as it's out for delivery via UPS. This one will be set up to just grind the Rakers with the 30 degree CBN wheel I also have. received that from Diamond Wheels, Inc on Monday. The Chinese are good at copying stuff so we will see and I'll let everyone know how good (or not good) it is. Sure was a lot less expensive than the Oregon (Tecomec) chain grinder. I decided on charging 10 bucks per 20" loop (full grind and Rakers as well). I have at least 50 loops in the shop and over 50 chipper knives to grind as well, mostly Bandit knives and a couple anvils as well and a few Morbark knives as well. Retirement is grand... lol Still need to send them one of my Wearsharp stump grinder teeth so they can make an appropriate diamond sharpening wheel to dress the worn stump grinder teeth as Green Manufacturing don't offer a regrind service but they can be resharpened at least 3 times. They are quite expensive to replace.
