My left elbow has been giving me trouble and it’s at the point that I’m getting surgery on it this month. I spent this weekend and I’ll spend next weekend cutting wood while I can. The chainsaw is obviously a two handed job but the hookaroon lets me move wood around with just my right arm. I will get enough cut so I can load the small stuff with my good arm and stack some while my elbow is healing.
    This Hickory came down first.

    Next was the Ash.

I cut most of it up then went back the next day and cleaned up with the hookaroon and gave lefty a rest.

Next week will probably be a Red Oak weekend.

I just watched My Left Foot the other night. That guy painted masterpieces and typed novels with just his left foot. Watch for appropriate inspiration...

You are correct, the first one was a Charlie Foxtrot.

Looks great. Be careful and give yourself plenty of time to heal up.

I wish there was a way to teach the art of swinging timber without doing so in person. That first tree looks like a good candidate !!!

Nice job. Yes, the pickeroon can come in handy for working one handed.

Here is wishing you a quick healing on the elbow. Good luck.
