Just found the movie "The Fighting Sullivans" and have a date to watch it in 15 minutes! (I think she's bringing popcorn!) "Little Big Man" is another decent one. What are some of the older selections that you like and/or recommend?
I was going to say any of the Dirty Harry movies, but those aren’t as old as the one you’re getting ready to watch. Cool Hand Luke is another of my older favorites. And Bullitt.
Some of our mechanical designers are 33 yo..... One of them likes to say/ask if I know movies/bands/historical stuff from the mid 80’s..... I always remind him I was a teenager when he was born....
12 Angry Men Released in 1957 the entire film takes place within a small New York City jury room, on "the hottest day of the year," as 12 men debate the fate of a young defendant charged with murdering his father.
Made about 1/2 way through the movie last night and then the eyelids started slamming shut. We'll have to finish it today. Some real good movies on the list so far. Maybe I just should have posted "Good Older Movies"
The Devil's Brigade - One of my favorites To Hell and Back Patton Another vote for Run Silent, Run Deep & The Bridge over the River Kwai as papadave mentioned. Grew up watching all these movies and more with Dad!
Any John Wayne movie, but Hell Fighter's is a good one! Quigley, Red Dawn, Man from Snowy River, Green Mile, Shawshank Redemption.
