    Saw this come up on Craig’s list, was thinking of offering him 500 clams. I think it would be a fun project to refurbish, wonder if it could be upgraded with a baffle and cat. I sent some pics to Woodstock last week but haven’t heard back.

    Why would one put emissions gear in an older stove?

    Sent pics to Woodstock and talked to them today. Turns out this was built back in the 70’s and really can’t be upgraded with baffle and cat. Totally different stove than the 80-90’s Classic.

    Doesn't look like it would be hard to put a baffle and secondary air tubes in it. It would no longer be top load but side load would still work. If the price was really cheap it would definitely be a fun and interesting project.
