    anyone know the model, CC's and approx year of this old McCullough? I took the pics with my 290 next to it for scale. I pulled the rope and it seems to have compression, but small engine repair is not my thing. It is for sale if interested.     In last pic underneath on the crankcase on left side of that "T" there should be a number stamped,I cant really tell even with zooming in.But going from outside appearance I'd guess that to be a 250 - very common popular model 4.9 cube/80cc produced from June 1964 to April 1970

    Yeah it looks like the McCulloch 250 my dad had back in the 70's. I remember it being heavy and hard to start.

    Yep, put a little Loc Tite on yer dentures, fire it up & cut. Big, loud, & lotsa grunt.
