I've been trying to locate these old tiles, but no luck so far. Only concerned about possible asbestos content.
They are a Johns Manville product- Pat.ID- 213367 is stamped on the back, that's it.
Anyone run across these, or have a link I've missed? Thanks, JB.

Actually it did. Seems the headers talk about asbestos and Portland cement. These are not near heavy enough, I would guess mostly a cellulose construction. Didn't see anything about that so I may be alright. Still, respirator will be mandatory. Thanks, JB.

have an abatement company, I can almost guarantee they contain asbestos. get rid of them, at least get them tested.

Yup, they're all coming out this weekend. Luckily, they pop off the adhesive very easily so not much airborne debris. I'll take precautions. Thanks, JB

Disposal can be another headache. Good luck. Open a window and run an exhaust fan.

no regs when a home owner does his own work, (insert sarcasm) asbestos is safe when the home owner does removal ( end sarcasm)
