If for any reason any members of this site would like me to drop by the factory to take pics etc I'm close enough to go on my lunch break. The folks there provide such great customer service, I'm sure they would comply with whatever someone requested (which made me think "why post this thread?"), but maybe there is something I haven't thought of that you great bunch of guys and gals at FHC might need. Plus, it would give me a chance to drop by the factory.

No kidding, I'm sure Dennis has a plaque on the wall there somewhere.
Burn, maybe you could go in and ask Lorin to paint my maple leaf red. Can't wait to see the artwork makeups when they are done.

Take pics? Heck no, I've got enough of them. I want you to take a couple slabs of soapstone for me, so I can build a small bread oven out of the stuff for on top of my stove.

That sounds like a pretty good idea. If you take the burn plates off and just set the stones on their sides and put a top over it all? Have you researched this Brian?

No requests for me to write a check from my bank account and ship a new Ideal Steel to one of you guys with the promise of later reimbursement?

Actually someone either here or on another forum has already tried it doing exactly that. Apparently it works. Tom at Woodstock said they've considered putting one together as an accessory.

Really like your design and color scheme Brian. Looking forward to seeing the install.

Your pics & videos helped convince me to go with the IS. I think I speak for many when I say thanks for all the time you invested in getting information out when you were beta testing. Just watched your time lapse video of the locust burn again yesterday. Great stuff.

Burn, how big, in sq ft, is your home?

We have about 3,000 sq ft of heated space. Another 2,000 sq ft of attached barn. It's an 1880 Victorian and is a bit overwhelming with the amount of work that needs to be done sometimes, but has a lot of storage for wood out in the barn.

The only reason I asked is you had mentioned wanting an IS for yourself. You definitely have enough space for that heater. Is the WS stove you have now doing the job?

Just to tempt someone, here are a few pictures of their showroom. They may move around some things from time to time though and these pictures were taken a few years ago.

First have to mention really like the new avatar. Must be the design you're getting on your stove you've mentioned. Very nice. Now that I've seen yours and Bob's, I'm second guessing my first choice!

We just had the Progress installed in May in the front of our house, so have only had some burns to season it. The Ideal Steel is going in the second week of September in our kitchen. I'm jumping in with both feet. Good bye oil heat and pellet insert.
