The cold is finally coming to visit us here in Ohio. Revamped my CL firewood ad in anticipation of potential sales. I ain't looking to sell like some of you, but dang if it wouldn't be nice to pay off the buggy a little early. Sticking with the $200/half cord pricing. Half cords work well for me as that's exactly what will fit on my utility trailer. Advertising stacked pickup loads for $100 (just shy of 1/4 cord). Specified no bulk discounts and delivery within reason is included in price. Stacking/carrying work will be sussed out if need be. As long as it's reasonable, I will carry & stack. That part of service is free of charge for Seniors/Disability. Emphasizing that the wood is dry and mostly trunk wood. Hoping to meet a couple nice customers.
I would describe your delivery zone, to avoid doubt. Maybe then describe a zone slightly further out where you would charge for delivery? That's what firewood sellers here do.
Hopefully it works out for you. Most volume sellers seem to sell out of their "seasoned" wood and is the buyer actually getting the correct amount. My CL ads have done very well this season much to my surprise. Some repeats from it too. Still have some BL listed. Let us know how it goes.
