    I'll never forget that day. I was working near Hillman, MI. The wind was terrible and the temperature kept falling all day and a little snow with it. Then we heard about the ship. Tragic.

    One of my favorite videos about the Great Lakes...The lakes always stay with you...the song totally nails the vibe up there. Heck, Lake Erie determines how my day is going to go and I'm not even living on the lake. I curse it and love it.

    If you ever find yourself in Michigan's upper peninsula near Paradise/Whitefish Point, the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum is a good place to spend some time. They have an exhibit dedicated to the Fitzgerald.
