Splitting some wood before going to work. Not much but good white oak and Ash. When I was finishing up I idled the splitter down and found the starter cord on the ground. Always something to fix. Glad it's nothing serious.

Nice jag of firewood! At least the cord broke after you got your wood split.

A little splitting is better than none in my book. Too bad about the splitter! :headbang: Always something!

Hate it when you yank that cord and end up with the handle in your hand and only a short piece of rope...

At least it didn't happen before you split. Had that happen to me on a outboard motor in the middle of a lake once.

Happen to my dad and I too with a 1960 6HP Mercury. Luckily the bow rope was about the same diameter and we used that to get it started. We were about 6 miles from our rental cottage in Canada. Would have been rowing AGAINST the WIND.

We got back by throwing the anchor as far as we could and pulled up to it....over and over. A real s#!รท show that was.

Probably not... It would probably need to already be available on at least one variant of the engine.... I just got excited about spending Ward Hoarder 's money...
