stuckinthemuck and I headed over to some friends of ours to mill some red and black oak Stuck dropped back in April. The wood was clean, and 1 particular piece will make it to our friends new brewery as the bar top which was cut at 4" thick and came out beautiful.

I'll add some pics of the work done today and I'm sure Stuck will add some.

Thanks again Well Seasoned !! Glad we could save these “yard trees” from the firewood stacks!! Amazing that we didn’t find ANY metal today. Looking forward to having a drink at the bar once installed. I only took a couple pics. Probably should have taken more.

Those rays :)! Nice stack of oak fellas.:yes: I'd imagine a 4" thick piece would have some decent weight. How wide was that one?

I think it ended up at 21” wide with one live edge and one straight edge. The log was about 18’ 6” long. And yes. It was heavy!!
