Got some cherry from a roadside score today. I will probably get more tomorrow time permitting. It was nice to run the saw!

Nice score! Roadside scores are the best.

I scored 4 nice rounds of cherry the other day too. I can take the rest of it, but my buddy has me contemplating turning it into lumber, and not firewood... Unless his boss lends us his log arch, it will end up as 17" rounds..

I’ve never burned this wild cherry wood that you guys seem to have all over the place. Feel free to drop it off at my house, so I can try it!

Yep. It’s me! You are my inspiration. I’m always curious what everyone looks like. So I took a pic of myself today and changed my avatar.

Thank you! :salute: Just a humble guy that enjoys cutting wood. I think there's a section in one of the other forums where users can post selfies/pics of themselves.

My favorite wood to burn with the glass door open. Can’t beat the smell

We'll see. There's a 15+ foot long trunk left in the woods after I took those 4 nice rounds home. That trunk's what has me thinking about making it into lumber.

  12. thats a very nice haul wild/black cherry is always one of my favorites to burn
