25 Ton hydraulics should tackle everything and anything you'd wanna split.

Nice. Stand that thing up and save your back from the lifting.

I have a DHT also. Have had it 2.5 years and gone through maybe 20 cords with no issues. Like so many, I kick myself for not getting a splitter years ago!

Very nice, I bought the same one a few weeks ago and so far so good. I do want to add a log catcher in the future.

I have a DHT also, a35 ton. Was a major PITA to start when I got it so I made a driver to spin it with a cordless drill. Starts nice now so I’ll probably put the recoil rope back on. Also modified the log cradle quite a bit. Really like the whole unit now. Had it probably 4 years

Have a DHT 22 ton with kohler engine and have had no problems so far. Makes things a whole lot easier huh? Like JeffC I too want to add the log catcher or work table. Not sure which one would be more useful.

I guess I’m not sure what a log catcher is.

In general if using horizontally. A work table is a place for the rounds before splitting and a catch is a table at end So splits don't fall on ground.

    Welcome JeffC to the FHC.

Ok, kinda what I figured. I’ll try to get some pictures of my modified table put up here. It works pretty good

Already added a Table to the Splitter. Big rounds I split Vertically & Lay the Splitter down for the smaller stuff 20190317_165507[1].jpg
