I got the idea off Pintrest, it took a few weeks to get the materials gathered up.

Door one picked off the side of the road. I believe it is old growth Sitka spruce.

Door two from a picker friend. Pretty sure it is poplar. I cut the lower part of the door off and sanded it very lightly to get the old finish off. One coat of shellac, 3 coats of semi-gloss poly.

Door one picked apart for the skirt boards. Legs are from big orange box store.

We are really pleased with the finished table. I have to make a barn board kitchen table at some point this year.

I just picked two, five panel doors out of the trash, looks like a fun project. I can leave it for the new home owner, it will match the rest of the interior doors.
I wonder what window + window might get you ? I know picture frame. I saved the top of the front window when I replaced it, it is 5 vertical panels. I am going to make it into a picture frame and put pictures from the rehab in it and leave it with the house.

Be nice - otherwise he'll see his shadow and disappear for another 6 months ;)

    That table looks great!

Feel free to post a few pics if you make the table and frame.
