We went with the grey collar pup from the litter. Here's Hayden!! He was pretty good on the 3.5 hour trip home. We had to give him a few things to chew on so he start chew on my truck. He wasn't really having any of the crate on the way home, so I put that in the bed of the truck to give him and Badger more room. We picked grey collar for his demeanor. He looked following is around instantly, although we did consider teal and the black collar as well. All pups had dropped testes as of this morning's vet check up. So choosing one had no health issues as a reasoning.
Congratulations Horkn! You all deserve each other and I hope it help fill that hole in your hearts, even if it's just a little. Keep the pictures coming!
Just a friendly FYI, for you. I've seen characters like this before. They are all ruthless thieves. They will steal your heart w/no thought for themselves. .....may be too late for you.
Don't you just love a puppy. They are a lot of work, but worth every moment of it. So good you have the older dog to teach the new one. Here is my old Max leading Molly around:
Pic's or it didn't happen.... Badger doing Ok with the new addition? Hayden looks like he'll be a good boy, but a badazz in the future ! Stout pup, congrats !!
Lol. We've all seen enough crap. No need to evidence that. Badger is doing well. It wasn't our plan to have to put him through new pup training at 10 yrs old, but that's how it worked out. Badger has the patience of a saint. Always has really. He growled and barked a little, but only after some unwanted sniffing and tail biting happened. I get it. Badger was totally fine with Hayden resting his head on Badger or snuggling with him in the truck on the way home.
